Along with the awesome music, we are planning a number of interesting things for you to do over the course of the weekend. 

 

\\CONCOURS - if you have a custom BEAR bike, we invite you to enter your bike in our Custom ConcoursThe "best of breed" motorcycle will be selected by popular vote, so no judges are involved - the rallyists will choose!Bikes must be customised / non-standard. Voting will take place between 2pm and 3pm on Saturday 11 March 2017 at the Rally site on the Concours Concrete area. Please ensure your bike has been signed in and numbered for the vote before 2pm on Saturday 

 

\\MOVIE HOUSE - In a unique Rally first, we will have a mini-movie house, showing motorcycle movies and documentaries throughout the weekend. Even if you've seen some of the movies, you can take a moment away from the main music event area, to chill in our "BEAR Cinema" and re-live some of the best moments in motorcycle movie making. 

 

\\FIRE POOL - bring your board shorts, bikinis & speedos, as if the water restrictions are not too bad, we will have our very own fire pool, imported from Cape Town, for you to cool off in, as the weekend promises to be a hot one... Just watch out for the Beavers... 

 

\\OUT RIDES - Swellendam Tourism has worked out a few routes for us to suggest you try out on Saturday morning, for a breakfast run, or just to enjoy the amazing countryside in the area. We will circulate a map with the suggested routes at the rally, but you can also view the OUTRIDE ROUTES HERE

 

\\MASS RIDE - the town of Swellendam has kindly permitted BEAR Rally riders to hold a mass ride on a short route through the town on Saturday at midday. We will leave from the Swellendam Showgrounds at 12 noon sharp, and ride in normal formation with no overtaking, escorted by the local traffic department, in a circuitous route, back to the show grounds. Please ensure that you are at the site and ready to leave at that time should you wish to participate.

 

\\TATTOO & MASSAGES - We thought you may want to get rubbed up the right way, so a tattoo artists and 'pamper tent' will be on site to offer their services. If you are interested in pre-booking either a tattoo (around R590 / hour) or a massage (foot, back, neck), email skin@bearrally.co.za and we can check on times available over the weekend.

 

\\FOOD VENDORS - The rally will cater for good taste, with a number of mobile food vendors offering quality food options, and decent coffee, throughout the weekend. We are even bringing in a craft beer van especially for those who want to try something other than the normal liquid options, with craft beer and cider on tap. Please support these vendors as they have come a long way to offer you their fare.
